Ubud, Bali

Yesterday, we arrived in Ubud. Ubud is a place north of Kuta, the backpacker's haven in Bali. It isn't great - lots of bars and booze. Ubud on the other hand is supposedly the cultural haven. The travelers here are older, and appreciate the history and culture more.

We found a place to stay that costs about PHP 250 per person per night. The place is called Roja's Bungalows and is very nice. Your rooms are in cottages and there's a garden that connects all of them together.

Today, we'll check out the market. We had a peek yesterday and it reminds me a lot of the Baguio market.

I'll post photos as soon as I'm able to get the cable which I forgot in the room again!
